the extreme emotion of the ride
Natural Feeling,
Natural Image,
Natural Moment
- For over 25 years we continue to create cutting edge photo
essays of events. Our Life magazine-like images
feature black and white, custom archival fiber
paper images displayed in ArtBoxes, WallImages, and
library bound
ArtBooks as well as on web sites and in publications.
We believe in the personal approach to images which
documents the feeling
of the moment without being intrusive with the camera.
Our state-of-the-art medium format (Hasselblad) and 35mm
(Canon) cameras, together with detailed composition creates
a timeless documentary that visually happens in front
of the camera, lasting for generations. Our lenses range
from fisheye (15mm) to 300mm.
Black and white photography and sepia (brown tone) images
are a real natural for rodeo photojournalism! High
speed black and white films and fast lenses allow a natural
light documentation and eliminates the distraction of the
electronic flash. Without the color distraction of signage
and background our images easily
show the true emotion and extreme essence of the ride
by both participants and spectators.
And because our black and white images are hand printed
by Wen Saunders, these images come to life in the darkroom
through
detailed printing techniques. Custom black and white
darkroom printing is fast becoming a lost art. Wen is
proud to carry on this fine art tradition.
(Wen has been printing images for over 25 years, started
when she was 3- not really...at 3 that is). Printing on
fiber black and white papers gives our clientele images that
last without changing color or fading for over 100 years.
Images to last your generation and those to follow- true
rodeo tradition lives on. By providing a huge inventory of
images, you are assured we have covered your event with
all that is available-we know no other way!
