Windy's Eye
Photography
is a record of living.
The horse’s eye is
not merely a likeness but an association and
sense of nearness involved in the animal and
offers a complete satisfaction of our human
curiosity. Windy’s
Eye was photographed in Dinwiddie,
Virginia as part of a
Sweet-16 essay for client, Brooke Butterworth.
The photograph premiered at Cowboy
Christmas during National Rodeo
Finals in Las, Vegas 2005 and out
sold other rodeo images (even those of action
rodeo)
in the show.
The photograph was awarded “Artist Choice”
at the Greeley Stampede Western Fine Art
Show (and was the first time photographs
were allowed in the western fine art show).
