You may have seen her
in the national telecast Wedding 2000 (the
wedding photojournalist documenting the wilderness
area snowshoe wedding- on snowshoes
herself),
as a speaker at WPPI Conventions, PPA
Conventions, and Hasselblad Speaker's Corner,
or previously online as WENBOULDER during one of her monthly
live marketing chats on AOL in the Photography
Forum. Currently, Wen tests lenses for
Tamron Industries and her images are used throughout the
industry. Wen's clients have an opportunity to have cutting
edge photography gear when covering their events, even before such
items are available on the consumer and professional markets!
During 2002-05, Wen also worked
as
PR Director at Fort Lewis College Theatre
(Durango, Colorado) producing marketing graphics,
public relations, and archival photographs for the college's
theatre productions.
In
2004, American
Cowboy magazine
featured her rodeo and western
art photographs.
Western Horseman
magazine
has also published her western photographs. Her
western and rodeo fine art photographs have
exhibited in fine art shows throughout the country
including Sedona Fine Art Festival, The Pagosa
Springs Arts Council Art Exhibit, Durango
Main Street Art Festival, Open Shutter Gallery (Durango,
CO) and Cowboy
Christmas (during National Rodeo Finals- Las
Vegas).
Cafe Blue Restaurant
(Boulder, Colorado) has a permanent Western and
Rodeo photographs exhibit on display (and
sale). She currently serves as a volunteer, Pagosa Springs Art Council, and
has been Arts
Line columnist for the Pagosa Sun newspaper
(writing a weekly column for the arts in Pagosa Springs
and surrounding area). Wen supports several
community organizations with donations and photography coverage such
as The Pagosa Springs Arts Council, the Pagosa Springs Community
Center, Kiwanis, the Pagosa Sun
Newspaper, and the Pagosa Springs Chamber of Commerce.
Wen conducts a
variety of
PHOTOlearn
sessions and children's summer camps in Lafayette and
Pagosa Springs, Colorado. In addition, she gives web site and
marketing seminars and private training consulting sessions throughout the country.
The
Greeley Independence Stampede
has extended an invitation for Wen to display
a series of western fine art photographic
images in
The Greeley
Independence Stampede Art Show & Sale, July 2006.
This is the first time the art show has displayed photographic
images as fine art in the show. She was invited again in
2007. Wen has also licensed Got Rodeo? which includes apparel
including hats, t-shirts, BBQ aprons, and tote bags featuring her
western and rodeo images. These items are also available for
sale with rodeo events throughout the United States.
In
2008, Wen opened Artisans of the Southwest Gallery and Winery which
featured a variety of artists (including herself) and wine tasting.
The gallery closed in 2010, after rain water flooding. In 2011,
she decided to pursue her passion for real estate and became a real
estate agent. She is a full time agent with RE/MAX Eagle's Nest. In her
second year she quadrupled her real estate sales!

he resides in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and she continues
to set high industry photography standards through her ongoing
efforts when documenting events, families, weddings,
stock images, and
producing marketing and web site strategies for small
businesses.
